Obtained Teaching License in December 2014 through Indiana Department of Education. 2 semesters tutoring undergraduates at Purdue University 1 semester teaching Algebra/Pre-Calc at a public high school 1 semester teaching Business math/Geometry at a public high school I focus on teaching the "why" of mathematics before the how. I believe it's important for students to understand what they're doing, otherwise they're just memorizing formulas which they don't know how to apply.
