I have an A.S. in Biology from Community College of Denver and a B.S. in Biology from Metropolitan State University of Denver. I graduated with a 3.7 GPA.
Experience
I am passionate about learning, and in turn about teaching. While I have not tutored professionally, my classmates rely on me to lead them in study sessions, and help them understand difficult material. I want to be a professional tutor because I wish to pursue a career in teaching, while pursuing further graduate degrees. The course work for my undergraduate degree required me to take, and excel in, courses such as, General Biology, Genetics, General Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Vertebrate and Invertebrate Zoology, Animal Behavior, and Evolution. While an undergrad I have participated in undergraduate research in Biology, and have had my work presented at national conferences as well as in student competitions.
